On the technical side I use acrylic paint and canvas, paper or cardboard. But this material side is only a small element of the process that is painting a painting.

My creative process is shaped by my world view and my experiences. I believe that these experiences are individual to me, but I also believe that there is an infinite string of events that are linked and led me the point where I am now. This interdependence means that even people I have never met share in my development and shape it, whether they mean to or not.

In my paintings I explore my sense of memory and the reliability of the concept of memory. This means that I both evaluate my formed memories as well as how new memories are formed. It is a very natural and inquisitive process that I aim to make visible in my paintings.
